Reedy Creek Dog Park

Reedy Creek Dog Park is the designated off-leash area at Reedy Creek Park and Nature Center; pause outside the gate, use the posted size area and confirm water and surface conditions before entering.

Free lots serve the nature center, sports fields, dog park and recreation areas, with about 125 spaces in the principal park inventory. Park near the activity you chose rather than relying on the first lot.

Preserve and park grounds are open daily from sunup to sundown. Reedy Creek Nature Center is open Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.; holidays, programs and weather can alter building access. This feature may have shorter, seasonal or daylight-only hours.

Restrooms are available at the nature center during building hours and in selected developed recreation areas. Remote trails and the Rockhouse ruins do not have continuous facilities or drinking water.

General park, preserve, trail, playground and nature-center exhibit access are free. Pavilion and shelter rentals, programs, leagues and special events may charge.

The nature center, developed parking and selected recreation facilities have accessible approaches. Natural trails, roots, mud, the historic ruins and longer routes vary substantially in grade and surface.

Leashed dogs may use general park areas and permitted trails; the fenced dog park provides off-leash space. Dogs should stay out of nature-center exhibits, playgrounds and sensitive habitat unless applicable service-animal rules apply.

Live native animals, exhibits, short nature experiences, playgrounds and the Play 60 course offer several family options. Robinson Rockhouse is an unmanaged historic ruin, so children should not climb walls or leave marked trails.

Trails can become muddy after storms, disc-golf fairways cross active play areas, and the Nature Center closes earlier than the outdoor preserve.

CATS service reaches the Rocky River Road corridor, but distances within the park can be significant. Confirm the stop, pedestrian route and return schedule before relying on transit.
