Use the park lot at 9725 Penny Road. Parking is limited relative to popular warm-weather demand, so sprayground weekends, events, and shelter use can fill the closest spaces.

The general park is open sunrise to sunset. The dog park is open 7 a.m.-10 p.m. with no entry after 9 p.m.; the sprayground operates seasonally, currently daily 9 a.m.-8 p.m. through September 21, weather permitting.

General park, playground, sprayground, boulder, lawn, trails, art, and ordinary picnic access are free. The off-leash dog park requires an annual membership or day pass and signed waiver.

Restrooms are currently listed as open near the developed family recreation area. Availability can change with maintenance, weather, or utility problems.

Developed parking, paved connections, playground, sprayground, shelter, restroom, public art, and open areas provide accessible choices, while the climbing boulder and some greenway surfaces require individual assessment.

Paved and unpaved greenway routes connect the park's developed areas and surrounding network. Keep wheeled recreation out of the sprayground and yield on shared paths.

The playground, free seasonal sprayground, climbing boulder, open lawn, farm-inspired sheep sculptures and whirligigs, picnic area, and trails support a full family outing.

The dog park requires a Cary pass and waiver; children under 12 are not allowed inside. Dogs must be leashed outside the fenced area, and the dog park closes the second Wednesday monthly from 7 a.m. to noon.

Tables and a shelter are available, with shelter reservations accepted October-April. Food, drinks, glass, and pets are prohibited inside the sprayground.

The sprayground is weather dependent and closes for monthly maintenance, including August 10, with the season ending September 21. The dog park closes the second Wednesday monthly from 7 a.m. to noon.
