Arboretum at Willowbrook Park

315 West Willowbrook Drive, Burlington, NC 27215. The 17-acre linear park stretches toward East Willowbrook Drive between Church Street and Front Street; follow signs for the Commons Building, accessible Treehouse, and Veterans Overlook.

Use signed public parking near Willowbrook Drive and choose the access closest to the Commons Building, Treehouse, or garden area you want. Do not block nearby residential or service access.

The Arboretum is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. The Commons Building, restrooms, guided programs, tours, and events may have narrower schedules.

General admission and self-guided walking are free. Programs, tours, rentals, donations, and special events may have separate registration or costs.

Restrooms are located at the Commons Building. Building access and maintenance may not span every sunrise-to-sunset park hour, so plan accordingly.

A wide paved path runs through the park, and the Treehouse is described as accessible. Creek edges, lawns, garden beds, wet areas, and individual overlooks can vary in slope and surface.

The principal route is a wide paved linear walk through garden collections and along the creek. This is a botanical stroll rather than a rugged hiking trail; allow time for an out-and-back if parking at one end.

The accessible Treehouse, bluebird boxes, creek, wildlife habitat, sculptures, lawns, and changing flowers offer a calm family visit. Supervise children around water and garden beds.
