There is no dedicated park lot. Use a signed City garage or legal downtown space, check current garage conditions and event closures, or arrive by transit or on foot.

The park is open daily from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Splasheville, restrooms, food trucks, performances, and events operate on narrower seasonal or programmed schedules.

General park and seasonal Splasheville access are free. Parking, food, ticketed events, rentals, and permitted private activities may cost separately.

Public restrooms are provided in the park, but hours can be shorter than the full 6 a.m.-10 p.m. park day and may change during maintenance or events.

The civic park has paved walking paths, terraces, and wheelchair-accessible routes. Event fencing, crowds, wet splash-pad pavement, slopes between plazas, and temporary installations can alter the easiest route.

This is a compact paved downtown walking environment rather than a hiking trail. It connects directly with Asheville's Urban Trail, public art, civic buildings, shops, and downtown sidewalks.

Splasheville offers free seasonal water play, while lawns, public art, Urban Trail stations, performances, and events support family visits. Confirm fountain operation and bring water shoes and dry clothes.

Keep dogs leashed and remove waste. Keep pets out of active splash water, restrooms, food-service areas, dense event crowds, and any space restricted by event rules.

Benches, terraces, and lawns support casual meals, and seasonal food trucks may visit. Tents, inflatables, organized gatherings, and recurring use can require a permit.
