Pleasant Park

3400 Pleasant Plains Road, Apex, NC 27502. After entering, turn left and then right onto Recreation Drive for the lots closest to Splashlantis and the Enchanted Forest playground.

Use the on-site lots and choose Recreation Drive for the closest approach to Splashlantis and Enchanted Forest. Parking is not allowed along Pleasant Plains Road; tournament and peak splash-pad periods can be busy.

The park is listed as open 5:30 am to 10 pm year-round; fields, courts, and restrooms open at 6:30 am. Basketball and pickleball courts operate from sunrise until about 30 minutes after sunset. Splashlantis has its own seasonal 10 am to 6 pm schedule when open.

General park access, Enchanted Forest, courts during public availability, and Splashlantis are free. Fields, shelters, meeting rooms, programs, and organized events may require reservations or fees.

Restrooms are available at the fieldhouse and shelter areas and generally open at 6:30 am. Splashlantis operations and individual buildings may follow separate schedules.

Enchanted Forest was designed with nine inclusive play villages for varied ages and abilities, and Splashlantis is open to all ages and abilities. Use signed accessible parking and paved approaches; individual play and water features vary.

The park includes internal paved connections and a cross-country course. Do not assume every future trail or athletic feature shown in long-range plans has been built; follow the current park map and signs.

The strongest family pairing is Enchanted Forest plus Splashlantis during its season. Bring towels, sunscreen, and water shoes for the splash pad; adults must supervise children because there are no lifeguards.

Keep dogs leashed and controlled in permitted general park areas, remove waste, and keep pets out of playground and splash-pad surfaces, buildings, and active athletic areas unless posted otherwise.

The Forest Shelter is nearest the playground and the Fields Shelter is nearest the athletic fields. Reserve a shelter for guaranteed group use and confirm the correct shelter address before directing guests.

Splashlantis is seasonal: in 2026 it opens weekends beginning May 23, daily June 15 through Labor Day, then weekends through the last Sunday in September, 10 am to 6 pm. Weather, capacity, maintenance, tournaments, and field schedules can affect access.
