Art Hike Trail

The 0.77-mile Art Hike Trail begins near the lower entrance and follows natural woodland terrain past sculpture, requiring about 45 minutes under ordinary conditions.

Free parking is available at the lower Rott Road entrance and west entrance. Art Fair and major-event parking uses special off-site or controlled arrangements, so follow event instructions rather than ordinary arrival directions.

Open daily 7:00 a.m. until 30 minutes after sunset, year-round, except selected major events. Aronson Fine Arts Center and galleries keep shorter Thursday-Sunday seasonal hours and may close for private events.

Accessible restrooms are available at Way Field, the Carriage House and Aronson Fine Arts Center during their respective access hours.

Park grounds, permanent collection and ordinary gallery access are free. Classes, special programs, food and major events such as the Art Fair may charge or require registration.

Aronson and the education lab are step-free. The paved Central Pathway follows steep natural grades that exceed ADA standards; wheelchairs are available under current checkout procedures and tactile bronze artwork models support visitors with low vision.

Leashed dogs are welcome in outdoor galleries but may be prohibited during the Art Fair, Laumeier After Dark and other events. Service animals may enter public areas.

Large-scale sculpture, open lawns, short trails, family programs and the Children's Sculpture Garden support exploration, but most artworks must not be touched or climbed unless an object label explicitly allows it.
