Tower Grove Park

Open daily 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Splash pad, Nee Kee Nee stream, farmers' market, carriage rides, events, offices and reservable pavilions use separate or seasonal schedules.

Free parallel parking is generally available along park drives, with posted one-way and no-parking zones. Large markets, festivals and concerts can fill interior spaces and change traffic patterns, so consider perimeter streets or transit.

Use the Central Playground and Roman Pavilion area for the Muckerman fountain, or route to the named pavilion, field, market entrance or East Stream destination. The long linear park has several practical arrival zones.

Restrooms are available at selected year-round or seasonal facilities and near major gathering areas, but not every pavilion or playground has an open building beside it.

General park access, playgrounds, splash features when operating, courts and ordinary picnics are free. Reservations, carriage rides, vendors, food, programs and ticketed events cost separately.

Paved roads and paths reach major gathering areas, while historic grades, lawns, curbs, crowded markets and nature-play surfaces vary. Check the exact pavilion or feature route before an accessibility-dependent visit.

Leashed dogs are welcome in ordinary park areas and at Nee Kee Nee under posted rules. Keep pets out of playground equipment, the children's fountain and posted event or food zones.

Central Playground, the Muckerman splash pad, three playgrounds, Nee Kee Nee nature play, basketball and open lawns make this one of the city's strongest free family parks.

MetroBus routes serve Grand, Arsenal, Kingshighway and nearby neighborhood streets. Select the stop closest to your named feature because walking end-to-end can be lengthy.

Muckerman Children's Fountain typically runs 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. from mid-June into fall, weather permitting. Nee Kee Nee runs 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in timed water cycles. Verify same-day operation and event closures before promising water play.

Check the St. Louis forecast for thunderstorms, tornado or wind alerts, heat and air quality, flooding, ice, and current operator notices. Water features, wildlife drives, trails, river access, cruises, events and outdoor attractions can close independently as conditions change.
