Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park

Open daily from 30 minutes before official sunrise until 30 minutes after official sunset; vehicle gates generally open at 7:00 a.m. Rentals, water access, splash play, restrooms, concessions and events use separate schedules.

Use Sailboat Cove on Marine Avenue for lake access or the exact upper-park lot for trails, fields, disc golf, playgrounds and shelters. Busy weekends and races can fill shoreline lots.

The lower lake and upper recreation areas are distinct. Route to Sailboat Cove for paddling and the lake loop, or select the named shelter, playground, trailhead or athletic destination before driving.

Modern restrooms are available at selected lake, shelter and recreation areas during posted or seasonal hours, but long trail segments do not have frequent facilities.

General park, trails, playgrounds, beach area, splash play when operating, fishing access and disc golf are free. Rentals, permits, shelters, concessions and organized activities cost separately.

The paved Lakeview Loop and developed shoreline areas provide accessible choices, while natural trails, beach sand, launch edges, steep upper-park connections and flood debris vary.

Leashed dogs are welcome in ordinary park areas. Keep pets out of splash play, swimming-restricted areas, buildings, crowded events and posted habitat zones.

Playgrounds, seasonal splash play, the flat lake loop, picnic shelters and boats make this a strong family destination. The sand beach is not a supervised swimming beach; obey posted water-contact rules.

Driving, cycling and regional greenway connections are the practical approaches. Direct transit may not place visitors near the desired lake or upper-park destination, so verify the final route.

Creve Coeur Lake is managed for boating and fishing, not ordinary swimming. Flooding, water quality, heat, high water and events can close trails, launches or features independently; check county notices before a water-focused visit.

Check the St. Louis forecast for thunderstorms, tornado or wind alerts, heat and air quality, flooding, ice, and current operator notices. Water features, wildlife drives, trails, river access, cruises, events and outdoor attractions can close independently as conditions change.
