Como Regional Park

The outdoor regional park is open sunrise-11:00 p.m. Zoo, conservatory, Japanese garden, Como Town, carousel, pool, pavilion restaurant, golf, rentals, and ski center all keep separate schedules.

Free lots and streets are distributed around the zoo campus, lake, pool, picnic areas, golf, and athletic fields. Zoo and conservatory parking fills on weekends; route to the exact facility and consider transit.

The zoo/conservatory campus, lake pavilion, Como Town, pool, golf course, woodland classroom, and picnic zones are separate. Walking between them can be much farther than the map appears.

Restrooms are available at staffed attractions and selected seasonal park facilities. Outdoor restrooms and water features may close seasonally.

The park, Como Zoo, conservatory, and Japanese garden are free with donations encouraged. Como Town rides, carousel, pool, golf, rentals, food, parking violations, and programs cost separately.

Major attractions and paved lake routes provide accessible options; historic paths, crowded buildings, snow, shoreline, and amusement rides vary.

Leashed dogs may use ordinary park areas but not zoo, conservatory, pool, play equipment, food interiors, or other posted facilities. Service-animal rules differ inside attractions.

Free animals and gardens plus rides, carousel, pool, playground, lake, food, and picnics make this a full-day family destination. Set expectations about separate ride and pool costs.

Metro Transit buses, biking, walking, rideshare, and driving serve multiple edges. Event days and warm weekends favor transit or early arrival.

Do not apply park hours to the zoo or conservatory. Check attraction hours, plant or animal building closures, Como Town season, pool status, parking projects, and winter operations before traveling.

Check the Twin Cities forecast for thunderstorms, heat or air-quality alerts, wind, snow, ice, extreme cold, flooding, and current park notices. Beaches, water features, trails, ski routes, river access, concessions, and outdoor attractions can close independently as conditions change.
