Black Rock Mill

Do not use the Clopper Lake entrance for a mill-only visit. The Black Rock parking lot is currently closed for streambank rehabilitation, so normal vehicle arrival is not available and visitors should not improvise roadside parking.

Parking is distributed among the park office, lake, Boat Center, playground, picnic, and trail areas. The Black Rock parking lot is currently closed for streambank rehabilitation, so do not navigate there expecting normal vehicle access.

The surrounding park follows seasonal daily hours, but the Black Rock parking lot is currently closed until repairs are completed. A broader park schedule does not mean normal mill access is available.

There is no dependable staffed restroom at the mill. Use developed park facilities before approaching any remote trail or historic-site route.

There is no separate mill admission, but applicable park service charges and rules still apply. Do not park illegally to avoid the closed lot.

The current parking closure removes the normal arrival option, and the historic ruin and creekside terrain are not a developed accessible visitor facility. Wait for official access guidance.

Do not take pets through a closed or improvised access. When official access resumes, keep dogs leashed and away from the ruin, creek, and restoration work.

The mill can be an interesting history stop when officially accessible, but it is not currently a dependable family arrival point because the parking lot is closed.

The park is primarily vehicle-oriented and spread across a large landscape. If using rideshare, select the exact day-use destination and arrange a return before entering a trail or remote historic-site area.
