Rusty Rainbow Bridge

The Rusty Rainbow is a steep arched pedestrian bridge over active rail lines, with both stairs and a long ramp but significant elevation.

There is no single central lot. Use legal neighborhood parking near Elysian Fields, Piety, Mazant, or Bartholomew access and never block driveways or signed residential zones.

Crescent Park is generally open daily 6:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; gates, events, maintenance, storms, and river conditions may alter access, so confirm posted hours.

Restroom availability is limited and can be event-dependent. Do not begin a long linear walk assuming facilities will be open at the far end.

Park entry, paths, lawns, overlooks, pavilions, and dog run are free. Parking, nearby food, permits, and events may cost.

Long paved paths are generally accessible, but the Piety bridge has substantial elevation and distance. Choose a lower-grade access and plan the return trip.

Dogs must be leashed outside the designated dog run. Bring water and waste bags, and keep pets away from rail operations and river edges.

Open lawns, ship watching, swings, and broad paths can work well, but there is little conventional playground equipment and the river/rail setting requires close supervision.
