White River State Park

Park grounds are open daily 5:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Museums, the zoo, rentals, concerts, games, visitor facilities and ticketed events keep separate schedules and may control access to nearby paths or lawns.

The park's underground garage charges $10 for up to two hours, $15 for two to three hours, $20 for three to six hours, $25 for six to ten hours and $30 for ten to twenty-four hours; a lost ticket is $40 and special-event rates may differ.

Use 801 West Washington Street for the main park and underground garage, but choose the riverfront, Canal Walk, Military Park, museum, zoo or event venue before arrival because the 250-acre district spans both sides of the river.

Family restrooms are on the exterior north side of the Frank Lloyd Visitor Center. Indoor visitor-center restrooms are available during retail hours, and other park restrooms may open only for planned events.

The operator posts no general admission price for ordinary grounds or Canal Walk access. Parking, attractions, rentals, concerts, games and special events charge independently; verify the selected venue before buying or traveling.

Developed park routes use paved walkways, and park rules expressly permit motorized wheelchairs. The operator does not publish one route-by-route grade, elevator or surface guide, so confirm a specific accommodation and any event detour before relying on a connection.

Animals must stay on a leash no longer than six feet in ordinary park spaces. Museums, the zoo, concerts and other ticketed venues set separate animal policies; do not assume the outdoor park rule grants indoor or event entry.

The lawns, Canal Walk, river views and trails can be combined with separately ticketed attractions. Supervise closely beside water, roads and event crowds, and check each venue's age, ticket and entry rules.

This is a multi-venue district, not one single stop. The official visit page can carry event-specific closure notices after their dates have passed, so confirm same-day park alerts and the selected venue's hours, tickets and entrance before leaving.
