Millennium Park

Millennium Park is generally open daily 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Individual art areas, fountains, gardens, concerts, security perimeters, and services can use separate schedules.

Paid Millennium Park and Grant Park garages are directly below or nearby. CTA and Metra are usually more predictable than downtown street parking.

Enter from Michigan Avenue for Cloud Gate and Crown Fountain, or use Randolph Street for the pavilion, Lurie Garden, and the bridge to Maggie Daley Park.

Public restrooms are available in the park during posted hours, including facilities near the pavilion area; event security or seasonal operations can change access.

Park admission, public art, garden access, and many concerts are free. Garages, food, tours, and selected events charge.

Major paths, Cloud Gate plaza, Crown Fountain, Lurie Garden, and pavilion seating areas have developed accessible routes; crowds and event barricades can alter circulation.

Leashed dogs are allowed only in permitted outdoor areas under posted rules; keep pets out of fountains, gardens, crowded performances, and restricted art surfaces.

Cloud Gate reflections, Crown Fountain water play, lawns, and the pedestrian bridge to Maggie Daley Park make an easy family cluster. Bring dry clothes when the fountain is operating.

Washington/Wabash, Lake, Monroe, Millennium Station, and downtown buses serve different approaches. Avoid driving when a major festival or concert is scheduled.

Cloud Gate is commonly called The Bean. Check the City event calendar and security rules before visiting, especially when Pritzker Pavilion programming controls entrances or bags.

Check current heat, air quality, storms, wind, lake or river conditions, and operator alerts. Chicago weather can close water, beach, climbing, skating, garden, and event areas independently of general park hours.
