Eastside Trail connection

The Eastside Trail connection links the park to Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, Inman Park, and Krog Street.

Parking is limited and dispersed on surrounding streets and private decks. Walking, biking, rideshare, or arriving from the Eastside Trail is usually simpler on busy weekends.

City park hours are generally 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. The splash pad is listed for 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. from May 1 through October 1, subject to weather, maintenance, and seasonal changes.

A fully accessible public restroom is listed near the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark on the BeltLine; verify availability before relying on it for a young child.

Park, playground, splash pad, lake overlooks, lawns, skatepark, and BeltLine access are free. Nearby private parking, food, and events may charge.

Paved routes serve major areas, but the park drops substantially toward the basin; choose the nearest entrance to avoid unnecessary slopes.

Leashed dogs are allowed under city rules; keep pets out of playground and splash-pad areas and clean up after them.

Excellent for families because the playground, splash pad, shade structure, lawns, and lake paths sit in one destination; close supervision is important near water and slopes.
