Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail

The trail follows City of Atlanta park hours, generally 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Adjacent businesses, parks, restrooms, and access gates use their own schedules.

There is no single official trail lot. Use transit, bike, rideshare, legal street parking, or paid decks near your chosen access point; Ponce and Krog areas are busiest.

Choose an access point based on what you want to see. Piedmont-to-Ponce and Ponce-to-Krog are distinct walks, and the full corridor is longer than a casual visit.

Accessible public restrooms are listed near Piedmont Park, Lowery-Bedford Pine, and Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark; availability can change, so check the official trail page.

Trail access, public art, and connected city parks are free. Private parking, food, rentals, attractions, and events cost separately.

The paved multi-use trail is broadly accessible, but crowds, crossings, grades at access ramps, construction, and fast-moving users can complicate travel.

Leashed dogs are allowed; keep a short leash in crowded sections and avoid blocking the path.

Stroller and bike friendly, with playgrounds and splash pads in connected parks, but the central trail can be extremely crowded and is not a contained play space.

MARTA rail plus local bus, streetcar, bike share, and neighborhood connections can reach different segments; select the access point before choosing transit.

Stay right, pass predictably, and stop off the travel lane. Crowds peak around Ponce City Market and Krog Street, and construction can reroute access.

Check Atlanta's hourly forecast, heat index, rain, lightning, air quality, and sunset. Summer heat and thunderstorms can make exposed lawns, paved trails, splash pads, pools, and wooded creek routes unsafe or unavailable.
