Follow the hours posted at the park. The city currently publishes Beach Park parking from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., with no parking from 2:00-5:00 a.m. Lifeguards use a shorter seasonal schedule: 9:45 a.m.-7:00 p.m. in spring and summer and 9:15 a.m.-6:00 p.m. in fall and winter.
The park is open from 8 a.m. to sunset every day of the year. The Terramar Visitor Center, concession, rentals, tours, and beach access may use shorter schedules.
The park is open 7 a.m.–7 p.m. from March through October and 7 a.m.–6 p.m. from November through February. It is closed on Christmas and New Year's Day; dog-park hours differ in summer.
