Polo Field and western meadows

The Polo Field and western meadows serve cycling, field sports, festivals, and large events that can substantially change road access.

Choose parking for the exact destination. Street spaces, attraction garages, and small lots are distributed across a park three miles long; events and car-free roads change access.

The park is open daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. Museums, gardens, playgrounds, restrooms, concessions, roads, shuttles, and events use separate schedules.

Restrooms are distributed near major attractions, playgrounds, sports areas, and concessions and do not all keep park hours. Identify the closest facility on the visitor map.

General park landscapes, trails, meadows, playgrounds, and lakes are free. Museums, gardens, rentals, food, events, and selected parking charge separately.

The City publishes a most-usable-pathways map and operates a free park shuttle. Grades, historic paths, attraction entrances, and event detours vary by destination.

Dogs follow posted leash and dog-play-area rules and are restricted from playgrounds, fields during play, museums, gardens, and sensitive habitat.

Koret Children's Quarter, the carousel, lakes, gardens, museums, and meadows make this a full family day, but distances and separate attraction schedules require a plan.
