Venice Pier & Beach Playgrounds

The pier is at Washington Boulevard; playgrounds are spread along Ocean Front Walk, so select the nearest one before parking.

City and private paid lots line the beach, with metered and restricted neighborhood streets inland. Summer weekends and sunsets fill early; verify closing time before leaving a car in a beach lot.

Pier access can close for surf or maintenance. Watch bike-path crossings, currents, hot equipment, and the distance back to a parked car.

Beach, boardwalk, skatepark, outdoor courts, pier, and general recreation access are free. Parking, rentals, food, programs, and Muscle Beach weight passes can charge.
