Warm Water Jetty

Use Carlsbad Boulevard south of Tamarack toward the Agua Hedionda and former power-plant area. Route specifically to the legal public access rather than an industrial driveway.

Parking is limited and controlled by posted curb and state rules. Do not improvise parking along highway shoulders or service access.

Use the nearest developed state-beach restroom before walking to the jetty area; facilities are not distributed at every surf access.

Jetty rocks, sand, changing beach width, and informal approaches are not dependable accessible routes.

Jetties create strong currents and slippery rock hazards. Do not climb wet rocks, and swim only in an appropriate guarded zone away from the structure.

This is primarily a surf, fishing, and shoreline landmark rather than the best family swim beach. Tamarack is the safer default for first-time facilities.

Pedestrian beach access is free. State parking areas may charge or accept eligible California State Parks passes; nearby public street parking has posted restrictions.
