Circle of Life

Use park lots from Indian School Road or arrive by light rail. Major events can close internal roads, reserve lawns, and redirect parking or transit access.

The general park is open 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.; visitor center, Memorial Hall, dog park maintenance, fishing, events, and reservations follow separate schedules.

Public restrooms and drinking fountains are listed, with additional facilities tied to the visitor center, Memorial Hall, and event operations.

General park, memorials, playground, dog park, lake views, and ordinary recreation are free. Fishing licenses, reservations, programs, and events may cost.

The city lists ADA access, level lawns, developed paths, parking, restrooms, and transit; event layouts and historic structures can alter routes.

Dogs may use designated small- and large-dog areas and must be leashed elsewhere. Annual turf maintenance can close both dog parks for weeks.

Playground, lake, fishing, shade, lawns, visitor center, and history offer variety. Adults should provide respectful context around the former federal boarding-school site.
