Hance Park festival lawns

The freeway-deck lawns host festivals, concerts, and civic events that can add fencing, stages, crowds, closures, and paid concessions.

Use metered streets, paid garages, limited park-area parking, light rail, biking, walking, or rideshare. Festivals can remove ordinary parking and close streets.

The general park is open 6:00 a.m.-10:30 p.m. The dog park is open 6:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.; splash pad, garden, library, arts center, cultural center, and events use separate schedules.

Public restrooms and drinking fountains are listed, with additional facilities inside operating cultural institutions. Event restroom layouts vary.

General park, playground, seasonal splash pad, lawns, and dog park are free. Japanese Friendship Garden, parking, programs, food, and some events cost separately.

The park lists ADA access with paved routes, inclusive play, shade, restrooms, and transit; construction, festivals, and grades toward surrounding streets may alter paths.

The northwest dog park has dedicated off-leash space and separate hours; leash dogs elsewhere and check annual May-June turf-renovation closures.
